1) Membership Activation
Membership benefits activate 7 days after enrollment and successful payment confirmation. Breakdowns occurring before activation are not covered.
2) Service Area
Coverage is valid within a 50-mile radius of Burleson, Texas. Service outside the coverage area may be available at additional cost. Response times are estimates and not guaranteed.
3) Tow Mileage & Benefit Limits
Tow mileage limits and service call counts are per plan, per membership term, and do not roll over or accumulate. Additional miles, labor, and special equipment needs are billed at the current member-discounted rates.
4) Vehicle Eligibility
Membership covers only the enrolled vehicle. Standard coverage applies to passenger vehicles and most light-duty trucks. Oversize, heavy-duty, trailers, specialty vehicles, and equipment may require Elite coverage and/or additional charges.
5) Fair Use Policy
Plans that include “unlimited” roadside assistance are subject to a Fair Use Policy. Excessive frequency, misuse, or service patterns indicating abuse may result in reduced benefits or termination.
6) Priority Dispatch
“Priority Dispatch” means members are placed ahead of non-member calls in our dispatch queue. Response times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, call volume, and safety.
7) Fuel Delivery
Fuel delivery includes delivery service only. Fuel cost is not included and will be charged at retail cost.
8) Winching & Recovery Definitions
“Standard Winching” is defined as a single vehicle within 20 feet of a safe, accessible roadway. Extended recovery may include additional charges for specialized equipment or terrain.
9) Accident Scene / Law Enforcement Release
Accident services are subject to scene safety, law enforcement release, and legal restrictions. Impound/hold situations or vehicles requiring special authorization may incur additional fees.
10) Storage Benefits
Storage benefits apply only when the vehicle is stored at our facility. After any included period, standard daily storage rates apply.
11) Payments, Auto-Billing & Non-Payment
By enrolling, you authorize recurring billing to your payment method until canceled. Failed payments may result in immediate suspension of benefits.
12) Cancellation & Refund Policy
Monthly memberships require 30-day written notice to cancel. Annual memberships are non-refundable after activation.
13) Limitation of Liability
DFW Hook It is not responsible for mechanical failure, pre-existing damage, or delays caused by weather. Member agrees that services involve inherent risk.
14) Hold Harmless / Indemnification
Member agrees to hold harmless and indemnify DFW Hook It from claims, damages, or liability arising from service requests or vehicle condition.
15) Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
